Mr. Batuhan Uzaslan, Technical Business Development Manager at Siemens Turkey, met with our students on December 15, 2025, to provide information about the Global SIMARIS Design Competition held worldwide and to introduce opportunities for them to showcase their talents on an international level and engage with Siemens’ global technical community. Additionally, as part of the event, the scope of the Technical Sales and Business Development division, career opportunities, and internship and part-time work opportunities available to students were presented in detail. In the technical segment of the program, topics of critical importance regarding the safety, efficiency, and continuity of energy systems were discussed based on the work conducted within SI EA TIP. Presentations were given on project design, specification processes, equipment selection, load flow and short-circuit analyses, and selectivity studies. Subsequently, Siemens Technical Sales Support Manager Özlem Alarçin, Chief Engineer Yasemin Uluhan Yücel, and SCADA Systems Engineer Emre Yeğen visited our department to discuss potential collaborations and future projects.
